All Things Good
Are Sweet
The first things I ever made were sweet, mixing chocolate and berries treats in my grandmother’s microwave to enjoy after dinner. Over the years my expertise stretched beyond the microwave and I became an avid baker, concocting various brownies and cookies to feed my sweet tooth.
Baking requires more precision than cooking, but I think there is still some wiggle room. As ratatouille shows, good food is about chucking a bunch of things into a pot until you have flavour fireworks going off in your brain. A good thing, I assure you.
And truly, there is nothing more delicious than a freshly baked choc-chip cookie.
Many of the recipes included are designed to be modified with whatever you have at hand — I would preferentially call them inspiration and guidelines.
