Toast
There is nothing that I love more than a good piece of toast!
My absolute favourite is a white sourdough, crunchy and soft and so, so, good. During Covid I had a sourdough making phase (didn’t everyone?) where I kept a bubbling sourdough starter on the bench for months and would make crunchy bread loaves in lieu of paying attention to online school.
Now at college in the US, I find that the food I miss the most is a good slab of bread…
